Find the best eSIM deal for your next trip to Vietnam

• ✅ Best for: Per-gig affordability, built-in free security features
• 📶 Plan type: Data only
• ✨ Promo code: SIMSURF5 for 5% off

Putting it simply, Saily was my personal favorite out of the more than 19 eSIMs that our team and I tested. I cannot recommend it highly enough for your trip to Vietnam.

What makes Saily shine are two things: (1) its super low per-gig rates, and (2) its built-in privacy and security features, which come entirely for free. The app also offered the smoothest experience I've encountered yet. The security features include a VPN-like virtual location tool (powered by NordVPN), which lets you connect to your home network to stream local shows, for example.

Overall, Saily's affordability, security, and top-quality app make it our top choice as the best eSIM for Vietnam and many other destinations. Enter SIMSURF5 at checkout to get 5% off your first Saily eSIM today!

• ✅ Best for: Hassle-free, uncomplicated experience
• 📶 Plan type: Data only
• ✨ Promo code: SIMSURF15 for 15% off (new customers), or SIMSURF10 for 10% off (returning customers)

Airalo is probably the most popular eSIM brand out there, with around 10 million global customers, last time I checked. And it's popular for good reason. It offers among the best rates not just to Vietnam, but to many destinations, and its app is incredibly simple. The whole Airalo experience seems designed around one thing: getting you connected as quickly and painlessly as possible.

The team and I here at SimSurf have tested Airalo in 10 countries on three continents, and we were happy every time.

To summarise, if you're looking for an affordable, beloved, and hassle-free eSIM, then Airalo is your best bet. You won't be disappointed. New customers get 15% off with SIMSURF15, and returning customers get 10% off with S10!

• ✅ Best for: Over-the-counter service
• 📶 Plan type: Data only
• ✨ Promo code: SIMSURF15 for 15% off

SIM Local is another interesting eSIM for Vietnam. What makes it really unique is that it's the only major eSIM provider that offers over-the-counter service, though only in a few airports in Europe (namely Gatwick, Heathrow, Athens, Madrid, and Vienna at the time of writing).

Its rates are also super affordable, and its mobile app is on par with the best, like Saily and Airalo, so we'd recommend SIM Local if you're traveling via any of the above airports and prefer to sort out your eSIM over the counter rather than online.
